The school operates both the national policy on education and the Catholic Mission's policy on education in Nigeria. Directives given from time to time, by the state Ministry of Education and the Diocesan Schools Board are also being well obeyed and strictly adhered to.

To keep fulfilling its mission of making quantitative and qualitative secondary education formation be within the reach of the average income groups of parents, the diocese has it as a policy to charge moderate and affordable fees for the services it renders. In August 2005, the office of the Administrator was created to smoothen the administrative process and provide a sure link with the proprietor since the administrator is to see to the day-to-day running of the school and make periodic report of activities to the bishop. Thus, Revd. Fr. Patrick Feyisetan was appointed the first Administrator of the college with effect from September 2005. With the creation of the office of the Administrator the designation Head teacher came into use for the person and office of the Principal.
